Dynamic Ergonomics and Exclusive Materials: Height-Adjustable Workstations with Metal Mesh Screens

In contemporary workplaces, the balance between ergonomics, comfort, and technical design is increasingly important in the development of operational spaces. In this project, carried out with an industrial partner, our technical and production work focused on creating a system of height-adjustable desks equipped with front and side screens made of metal mesh with an exclusive finish. The goal was to create an advanced workstation that combines functionality, customization, and construction quality.
Operational Comfort and Freedom of Movement
The project responds to the growing need for adaptable work areas that support different operational modes. The height adjustment system allows users to quickly switch from sitting to standing positions, encouraging a dynamic posture and well-being throughout the day. Each workstation is configured to ensure ergonomics and intuitive use while maintaining a consistent technical aesthetic.
Technical Structure and Functional Integration
The load-bearing structure, made of powder-coated steel, is designed to ensure stability and precision of movement. The electric lifting system is integrated into the columns, keeping work surfaces clear and simplifying maintenance. The bases contain technical modules and compartments for cable management, offering a clean and organized configuration even in intensive use contexts.
Metal Mesh Screens: Design and Identity
A distinctive element of the project is the use of front and side screens made of metal mesh, developed with a dedicated and exclusive finish. These panels ensure visual privacy and acoustic comfort while maintaining openness and transparency between workstations. The texture of the mesh, combined with the precision of the perimeter frames, creates a refined and recognizable technical language.
Modularity and Customization
The system is designed to adapt to multiple configurations — single, double, or shared — while maintaining aesthetic and performance consistency. Work surfaces can be customized in size and finish, ensuring full compatibility with integrated accessories and storage modules.
